Meet the Team - Heywood Dental

Gareth took over the practice in April 2016. Gareth grew up and graduated in New Zealand before relocating to Manchester more than a decade ago. He worked for 10 years in an NHS Dental Practice and part-time in Macclesfield District Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department.
His special interests in dentistry include cosmetics and minor surgical procedures.
Outside work Gareth enjoys playing hockey and skiing.

Michele has worked at the practice since 2008 and assisted Mr Goldthorp before his retirement.
Michele is our practice manager and oversees the day to day activities in the practice.
Michele is currently studying a chartered management degree through the open university.
In her own time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Gina has been with us since February 2019 and has her Level 3 diploma in Dental Nursing.
Her daily duties include assisting Dr Harper in surgery and working on reception.
In Gina’s spare time she enjoys socializing with friends and travelling to new places.

Sunbal has been with us since June 2023 and is currently studying and working towards her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.
Sunbal works alongside Dr Harper and on reception
In Sunbals spare time she enjoys spending time with family and trying new restaurants.
